Networking Event Berlin:
“Leadership Lounge– Science meets Economy”
“So… what’s Trump now?”
Digitalization and new forms of work
There are three types of people in this world:
Those who make things happen
Those who watch things happen and
Those who wonder what happened.
“Gate 1”, “Gate 2” or “Gate 3”, which is your choice?
Let us be among those who help shape the future! Information and exchange are crucial foundations for this. Interesting research findings and field reports from corporate practice are the logical counterpart in our upcoming Leadership Lounge, to which we would like to welcome you again. According to the motto “Copying is allowed!”, this lounge is explicitly open to you.
The 29th Lounge will focus on how the digital transformation is affecting our working lives and how companies are dealing with it. You will find out how job profiles will change, what new jobs will be created as a result of digitalization and how employees are learning to deal with new challenges. How are companies succeeding in driving change? What motivating digital success stories already exist?
Together with the SEMINARIS CampusHotel Berlin, we offer you a networking platform for managers, human resources and science with the Leadership Lounge. Speakers from research and science on the one hand, and from business practice on the other, provide us with exciting insights into current topics relating to corporate management, innovation and human resource management. With our lounge, we offer a forum for exchange, inspiration and communication. With delicious food and good wine, there is plenty of room for networking with interesting people.
Our presentations:
“New world of work / artificial intelligence – expected changes & outlook”
Prof. Dr. Dietmar Barzen – Vice President at the Rheinische Fachhochschule Köln and founder of the Master’s degree course in Digital Business Management
In his lecture, Prof. Dr. Dietmar Barzen provides us with a well-founded analysis of the changes brought about by digitalization. From the trend towards network formation and monopolization, artificial intelligence using neural networks and aspects of the new world of work to an outlook on how the change will alter job profiles but also create new jobs, he gives an impressive account of the risks and opportunities of digital transformation.
“Human digitalization – first steps and successes worldwide”
Andreas Grieger – Head of Global Human Resources, Weidmüller Group
As a traditional company, Weidmüller is affected by the digital transformation on two levels: On the one hand, the product range is changing rapidly, and on the other, the company itself is facing the challenge of remaining competitive in the modern world. Mr Grieger tells us about initial successes, but also about obstacles on the way to becoming an agile organization.
“Digitization – where do you stand? Hype or reality”
Olaf Lindenau – Manager Data Center Sales, Cisco Systems Germany GmbH
Technology is changing the way we live, work, play and learn. It’s hard to imagine today what will be possible in the future. Mr. Lindenau shows us which trends in our working and private lives we will soon be facing. However, he wants to make things a little easier for us with the image of the mock giant and talks about simple digital solutions in SMEs that have been developed with the help of the Innovation Alliance, an association of partners from the IT sector.
We are expecting another exciting and inspiring evening and look forward to welcoming you!
