Why is our next lounge all about corporate culture and values?
A shortage of skilled workers, employer attractiveness, the values of generations Y and Z and the increasing unpredictability of the current world – these are all reasons to take a closer look at corporate culture. How do we achieve an attractive, flexible and dynamic culture? Many companies are asking themselves this question today.
In our anniversary lounge, you will find out how culture can be measured. You will also find out in a workshop report how a “value-based transformation” can work. And you will gain valuable background knowledge on understanding culture and values in the company and also about yourself personally.

Corporate culture has been considered an important condition for success for four decades. But what does culture mean? Current cultural theories define it as a mixture of habits and customs of a group. The lecture provides a compact overview and shows: In increasingly dynamic times, knowledge of this has far-reaching consequences for strategic corporate management.

Values and culture process with everyone – a workshop report from Hochtief PPP Solutions
Is it really possible to involve all employees in a values process and thus shape the culture together with the entire team? One and a half years ago, HTPPPS launched a values process with around 200 employees in which everyone was involved. “It was a comprehensive team development process, and that in coronavirus times” was the feedback from people in the company. Everyone really had the chance to participate several times. All managers were also involved. Mariola Thometzki (Strategy department), will tell us how they approached this topic, what challenges and pitfalls there were, but also what tips and advice she can give from her experience.

On September 15 from 6 p.m. our 40th Leadership Lounge will take place – this time again hybrid. The choice is yours: Will you join us at the Seminaris CampusHotel in Dahlem or join via Zoom? Both are possible. If you join via Zoom, you only have to take care of your own food and drinks 🙂 Please make your choice when you register.

In 2009, we founded the “Leadership Lounge – science meets economy” in cooperation with SEMINARIS Hotels. Since then, we have been inviting managers, human resources and scientists to our networking event in Dahlem three times a year. After work, you can look forward to an exciting evening event with presentations on current topics in times of digitalization, globalization and Industry 4.0 as well as on our working world of the future.
